THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Step 1
Establish Company Requirements
Our consultant will collect detailed information on the role for which the organisation is hiring to assist in recruiting the ideal candidate. Information will include a comprehensive job description, key responsibilities, skills and duties required by the successful candidate, where the role fits within the company’s structure and details of salary and benefits.
Step 2
Searching
Finding the most suitable candidate for the position will be achieved through using numerous sources including our own extensive database. Other sources include advertising the position online including sites such as Indeed and CV Library to reach a wider audience. LinkedIn and our own industry connections will be utilised to enable headhunting to find the best-suited candidates. Using our extensive knowledge of the current construction industry allows us to reach out to connections who we know will be the ideal match.
Step 3
Identifying Viable Candidates
Searching for suitable candidates is just the start. What makes us so valued by businesses is our skill to identify highly qualified individuals, whether actively job seeking or not. Out of the hundreds of candidates that apply, only a small percentage will be suitable for the role. We pay attention to detail which enables them to filter through the extensive list to ensure viable candidates are chosen. While anyone can find candidates, the quality we source for a company is exceptional and requires a significant amount of effort and expertise.
Step 4
Candidate Screening
After viable candidates have been identified, the screening process will commence. Consultants will have made a concise list of five to ten candidates who they will contact to explain the role in further detail and invite for an interview. During this process, our consultants will leverage their own extensive industry knowledge to assess if the candidate’s attitude, qualifications, experience and skills align with the company’s values and requirements. Once completed, references will be collected for suitable candidates.
Step 5
The Introduction
After narrowing down the list of professionals, a candidate file will be compiled to include all the information collected during the recruitment process. This detailed file will include a CV, references, interview feedback, copies of qualifications, certificates and any professional memberships the candidate has obtained. These completed files are then given to the client for their consideration on whether they would like to proceed.
